Hey, I’m Kartik Choudhary but you can refer to me as KC. I’m new here and I stumbled upon this community recently.
I am a developer first but I’ve always had a passion for design with some natural talent. Although I don’t have any professional experience in a design career, I do have some volunteering experience in branding, logo designs and creating graphics. Being a part of OSD would provide a sense of representation to me as a designer, a feeling of having a group to learn and grow with.

I was born and raised in Europe , studied in the Middle East (Turkey), and worked in East Asia (China). This unique cultural background taught me great respect for cultural diversity. I believe that every human being is unique and worth to be listened to.
My way to User Experience Design was not straightforward. It was a long and complex process that allowed me to build my skill-set, learn empathy, gather multicultural proficiency, and find my true passion.

I’m a freelance illustrator and designer from Norway that also do organizational and communication work for political organizations on the side.
I made the jump to Linux in 2017 when I sensed Windows 7 becoming quite outdated but not wanting go over to Windows 10 I instead opted to try Linux for the first time. I still use Linux to this day, with my current distribution being PopOS 20.04.
I’m heavily invested in ethical software and use nearly only libre software when making all of my art, Krita being my trusty main tool for making illustrations.

I’m from Indonesia, currently i stay in Yogyakarta, a little city between middle java and west java. In this city, i met @jan, and he advice me to join OSD.
I active on several open source project both local on international as designer, i.e LibreOffice, GNOME, and openSUSE. In Indonesia, i handle a community called Gimpscape ID, it’s the biggest open source design community in Indonesia. Yeah, i think Gimpscape almost similar with OSD in some term.
