Home Assistant is free open source home automation with a focus on Privacy, Choice and Durability. Powered by a worldwide community of tinkerers and DIY enthusiasts. Perfect to run on a Raspberry Pi or a local server. More than 150,000 users have chosen to share their data anonymously, but we know that there are a lot more.

That keeps me wondering as the first full-time UX designer for Home Assistant: Are there any other Home Assistant users here? What is your experience with it? And what advice would you give me?
