Some comments on what could be done:
- examples and showcases: We could interview people from different open source projects and show how they dealt with their UX challenges.
Effort: Maybe online meeting or longer mail exchange, writing, editing. - Resources: Some exits (getting started advice, but needs to be uploaded), could be duplicated (e.g. this one) or created. The general difficulty with anything repository-like is that it needs maintainance and criteria for what should not go in.
Effort: Put on website as article? - Community: This is a difficult one! We have the forum, but it is relatively quiet. I also try to run the mastodon account, but I rarely get questions or comments. When I voice my personal opinions I usually use my own account, but that also gives less engagement.
Effort: Unclear what can be done. - Fundraising: Not my expertise. I think our amount of money is plenty for buying things but it is very few for paying people. When paying people we also have the problem of selection.
- Formal Representation: Not my expertise. I was involved in Vereine in Germany. They need to follow some rules, some of which are quite helpful to organize anyway.
