I wanted to share a new initiative I started at Unitary Foundation called unitaryDESIGN.
unitaryDESIGN is a virtual event encouraging people to make contributions to the open source quantum computing ecosystem through the lens of community engagement and science communication.
The event will run February 16-27, 2026, and participants have the opportunity to earn cash bounties by closing out github issues on participating projects. Our goal for unitaryDESIGN is to have new voices contributing to the quantum open source space, so please reach out to me if you have any questions or register here if you’re ready to jump in!
