I use Miro quite a lot in my work for workshops. It’s really an amazing tool. However it just dawned on me that there isn’t really any open source alternatives..or none that I have found.
I did find quite a nice alternative milanote, but it isn’t open source and feels more for personal usage.
What white boarding collaborative tools do you use that are open source, if any? And what are the chances to get one going? 
I see excalidraw frequently used in open source projects

Could try AFFiNE (: I’ve used it with friends to collaborate for a game jam.
Does it have whiteboarding? On the first glance it looked wiki-ish to me.
It does! You also need to turn on “Edgeless Canvas” button in top left so it’s more like Figjam/Miro. It’s definitely more clunky? Sometimes we found it wasn’t live updating as smooth as others though.
Yes have been trying and find some lag issues. Really liking excalidraw for it’s simplicity though!
